One of my favorite Lawn Fawn products are their gift boxes, so this challenge really hit the mark with me. As you will see, I couldn’t stop at just one! Add the very cute Lawn Fawn animals and you get some cute and clever gift boxes. These boxes are sized perfectly for a gift card and also for small gift items such as jewelry, candies or small toys. Or even a dog or cat treat!

I started out with the Scalloped Treat Box and cut 2 of each die from 4 different double sided cardstock sheets. Using the video on the product page, I assembled the 4 boxes. The really nice thing about this box is that you can open and close it without adhesive. This makes the box reusable so several people can enjoy it.
To decorate each box I started by cutting a snowy hillside out of some white textured cardstock using the Simple Stitched Hillside Borders. Using the tree and bird from Snow Day, the penguins and sentiment from Snow Cool, the bird, star and tree from Cheery Christmas, and the puppy, Santa hat and sentiment from Happy Howlidays I created simple scenes on each box by stamping, coloring with Copic markers and then cutting each out with the matching dies. I attached the elements to the boxes using foam tape to give them a bit of dimension. Then I cut out bows from the middle size of the Put A Bow On It die set and attached them to the boxes.
I decided that I also wanted a gift tag for each box. I absolutely adore the String of Lights tags along with the Tiny Tag Sayings. I created a matching tag for each box using the same cardstock as the bows and backed them with white cardstock. I cut the tops from matte silver cardstock and used my clear Wink of Stella pen on the little curved opening. I stamped the To/From and a small icon on the back of each and attached matching baker’s twine.
I hope you like my little boxes! If you did I urge you to leave a comment and follow my blog. And the next time you need a special gift box consider making something unique using these great Lawn Fawn Products. Have a great day!
